3 out of 4 Autobot Pretenders done! For the Masterforce pretender leader I used an Energon Windrazor (took me AGES to track one done on ebay for a reasonable price!) and proceeded to add gold, red, blue and white paint. I'm glad I decided to go for a gold body in the end, rather than the yellow colour that was used in the cartoon. Anyway here's 2 pics of the original figure, followed by images of my custom...

With  Ultraman  now spreading its light on a worldwide scale, it's easy to forget that it wasn't all that long ago that the franchise was in a pretty precarious place. Tsuburaya Productions were taking hit after hit financially, whilst still embroiled in their long legal battle with Chaiyo Productions over the rights to the Ultraman  franchise outside of Japan. Series REVIEW: No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger

50 years is one hell of a milestone to celebrate anyway, but when it comes to tokusatsu it's a particularly monumental achievement for Super Sentai . Ever since Himitsu Sentai Gorenger first began on April 5th 1975, the franchise has carried on almost non-stop all the way up until now - spawning 49 different mainline series, 50 different teams and hundreds of brightly coloured heroes. But it seems all good things really must come to an end, and after several years of experimentation amidst declining profitability it was decided that the 50th anniversary series would also be its last - at least for the time being anyway. And thus the longest consecutively running tokusatsu franchise bows out with No.1 Sentai Gozyuger , a series which aims to celebrate five decades of Super Sentai spirit in its own unique way. Series REVIEW: Kamen Rider Zi-O

Over the past 20 years the Kamen Riders have battled against the likes of the Grongi, Unknown, Fangire, Orphnoch, Greeed and so many more. They've been doctors, demon hunters, wizards and detectives. Some have journeyed through the decade and travelled through time, while others hail from parallel universes. But eventually all things come to an end, and as the curtain closes on the Heisei era a new one is about to begin. But before welcoming the Reiwa era with Kamen Rider Zero-One , Toei celebrated the longest consecutively-running period in Rider history with Kamen Rider Zi-O . As the 20th and final Heisei series Zi-O pays tribute to everything from Kamen Rider Kuuga all the way up to Kamen Rider Build , with plenty of guest stars and surprise developments to see the era off in style.
