With Kamen Rider Stronger the last of the original seven Kamen Riders left to be released in the Shinkocchou Seihou line his appearance was almost guaranteed at the event, but what was far less expected was another three classic Kamen Rider figures that take us all the way up to the tenth anniversary special Birth of the 10th! Kamen Riders All Together!!. Skyrider and Super-1 both look incredible of course, but given how woefully bad the original Figuarts Kamen Rider ZX was the thought of him finally getting a good figure is especially exciting. The surprises didn't just stop there though, as the impressive ten-Rider display also revealed new versions of Rider 1, Rider 2 and Amazon. In Amazon's case it seems he's just been given a cloth scarf to match up with the rest of the releases, but the Double Riders have also received newly painted helmets based on their crossover appearances in later series. Rider 1 has a deeper green helmet, while Rider 2 has a dark green/almost black helmet. Who knows if these variants will get released as well, but if they do I can see myself double-dipping as I'm rather partial to that Rider 2 look.
4) S.H. Figuarts Usopp & Sanji (Romance Dawn) (One Piece)
I may not have been in the One Piece fandom for very long but I am well aware of the struggle fans have had getting a full line-up of the Straw Hats crew in the S.H. Figuarts line. Granted this isn't exactly the complete line-up, but a full line-up from the show's first saga is definitely better than nothing. With Luffy and Nami already released and Zoro to follow early next year, it's now just a waiting game to see if Bandai can get Usopp and Sanji out before 2025 is done. Both figures look incredible, but with Sanji having previously had two S.H. Figuarts releases (one back in Figuarts' early days and then a Raid on Onigashima version last year) this is really a victory for all the Usopp fans out there. The group really do look fantastic together, and with the level of commitment Bandai are now showing toward One Piece Figuarts maybe there is hope for a complete line-up of all ten Straw Hats one day.
3) S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Go-On Red (Engine Sentai Go-Onger)
Speaking of commitment, who would have thought Super Sentai Figuarts would ever be back to the strength they're currently at? Sure we may never be at the point where Bandai can confidently release full teams again, but it was a fairly strong showing for the franchise this year with three brand new figures revealed. King-Ohger's Spider Kumonos and Boonboomger's Bun Violet were great to see, but the real prize here was definitely Shinkocchou Seihou Go-On Red. This isn't just a fantastic looking figure, but as the first Super Sentai Shinkocchou Seihou that isn't a remake of a previously existing figure it shows that any Red may be on the table going forwards. While there's still the question of whether these things will actually get released, of the three new Super Sentai figures shown at the event this somehow feels like the one with the best chance.
2) S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Wingman (Wingman)
S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou really won the event for me this year, particularly as not all of their announcements came from the most obvious of places. Though teased a few weeks before the event, the reveal that Wingman was going to be a Seihou and not just a regular S.H. Figuarts release was quite the shock. Figures from all the usual tokusatsu franchises are great, but it's always nice to see another IP get in on the action. If you haven't tried out the new Wingman live-action adaptation yet I really couldn't recommend it highly enough, and it won't take much for you to want to add the titular hero to your collection. Best of all is that this is the one figure on the list that already has a confirmed release date - Wingman is a Tamashii web exclusive retailing for 12,100 yen and releasing in August 2025. Preorder him while you can!
1) Soul of Chogokin Shinkalion E5 Hayabusa (Shinkansen Robo Henkei Shinkalion)
I've been a huge Shinkalion fan pretty much since the beginning, but for some reason neither TakaraTomy's standard line of transforming mecha or Good Smile Company's non-transforming Moderoid model kits have ended up in my collection. However the news that the original (and still the best) series E5 Hayabusa would be joining the prestigious Soul of Chogokin line might just be enough to finally get me to own a Shinkalion figure. The E5 itself was previously revealed and on-show at a Soul of Chogokin event not so long ago, but only in train mode - Tamashii Nations 2024 gave us our first glimpse at the robot mode. And what a robot mode it is! I have every bit of faith that Bandai are going to give this gorgeous design every bit of detail it deserves, and while it certainly won't be cheap it'll be very hard to say no to this one.

Wingman was the biggest surprise for me. The second most surprising behind that were definitely the figures for Takumi (and Kusaka), but they definitely qualify as iconic enough to warrant it
Without the full team release the sentai figuarts price tanked and shelfwarm the store... a friend told me from japan trip ... the zenkaiser, don momotaro and kuwagataohger are like 3k yen each even the new gokai red is 5k yen
That doesn't shock me to be honest. Even when the full teams were getting released they were getting discounted exactly the same way.
