After Kamen Rider Zeztz  kicked of Toei's plans of global expansion in full force, it's time to enter phase two as the Kamen Rider franchise celebrates its 55th anniversary. Kamen Rider My-Th , the eighth instalment in the current Reiwa era (and 41st main instalment overall), finds a new home on YouTube over at the Toei Tokusatsu World Official   channel, which for the last few years has hosted a selection of Kamen Rider series and movies as well as various other Toei tokusatsu and anime shows. The series is being written by none other than Naruhisa Arakawa , best known for his helping to bring Kamen Rider back to television screens with Kamen Rider Kuuga back in 2026. This first episode, entitled "The Mouse Meister and the Young Lady", was directed by Shojiro Nakazawa .

The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club has been the home of various pieces of Kamen Rider , Super Sentai  and now Project R.E.D.  spin-off material for many years now, but with most of these taking the form as one-off episodes or limited mini-series few have seemed quite as expansive as Kamen Rider Zeztz: Series of Sister's Substory Agent Minami . Though its episodes may only be two to three minutes long, this companion piece to Kamen Rider Zeztz  ran for a whole 50 episodes - with a new episode releasing each week to accompany the main series. Shifting the focus onto Baku's sister Minami (played by Miki Yagi ), the series was written by Yusuki Naito (under the supervision of Zeztz head writer Yuya Takahashi ) and directed by Tomonobu Koshi .

It’s taken a long time to get here, but on the advent of its 55th anniversary the Kamen Rider franchise finally took its first steps to truly going worldwide. Whilst English-speaking audiences (primarily in the US) have been able to enjoy both streaming and Blu-Ray releases of older series for some time, it wasn’t until Kamen Rider Zeztz – the seventh main instalment in the Reiwa era and 36th overall, that Toei finally opened up a currently airing series to audiences outside of Japan and select Asian regions. The show was licensed by Shout Factory and simulcast with English subtitles via their TokuSHOUTsu YouTube channel in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand, while TokuSato handled distribution in South America. Release Date: June 2026 RRP: 12,100 yen One of the main reasons the original 2011 release of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryuki was so popular is that Bandai Tamashii Nations made the surprise decision to include Dragreder  with it, and while the same sadly couldn't be said for the 2025 S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou version that doesn't mean he has to go without his contract monster. With the  S.H. Figuarts Dragreder & Kamen Rider Ryuki Option Parts Set comes a brand new version of the monster alongside additional accessories and display parts for Ryuki himself. This one however is not only a Tamashii Web exclusive but also considerably more expensive than the original Ryuki release, which just goes to show how much prices have changed in the last 15 years.

Release Date: March 2026 RRP: 12,100 yen There are plenty of Kamen Riders that are super popular amongst fans, but few are so popular that they have a whole day dedicated to them. Every 13th September the Kamen Rider fandom celebrates Kaixa Day , honouring the utterly despicable yet somehow loveable character that is Masato Kusaka . 2025's Kaixa Day came with a particularly special announcement, with the reveal that an S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Kaixa figure was finally set for release. Given that it's been a few years since the release of Kamen Rider Faiz one might think this was one of the most obvious places for the Kamen Rider 555 line to go next, but in a classic case of Bandai Tamashii Nations throwing curveballs we've had both Next Kaixa and untransformed Masato Kusaka figures before the standard version. Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 11,000 yen Naturally Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2 (aka the "Double Riders") have been a staple of the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou range since near its beginning, and over the years various versions of their iconic suits have frequented the line. It has however previously been far more Kamen Rider 1 focused - the numerous retail versions of his final "New" suit having been accompanied by Tamashii Nation event exclusive releases of his Sakurajima and Original suits in 2018 and 2022 respectively (with a reissue of the Sakurajima suit in 2025). However Bandai Tamashii Nations have been showing plenty of Rider 2 love in the last year or so, with a new version of his "New" suit released at the end of 2025 and The Next version following a few months later. Now arguably the most important version has arrived, with the long-awaited release of S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider 2 ( Kamen Rider vs. Shocker Ver . ...

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 9900 yen Bandai Tamashii Nations may only have a handful of Kamen Riders from the Showa and Heisei Phase 1 eras left to release in the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou  line, but with how highly in demand some of these figures have gotten over the years reissues are certainly never a bad thing - especially when Bandai take the opportunity to slightly improve on them along the way. With Kamen Rider Agito celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026 it's the perfect opportunity for Bandai to bring the second Heisei era Rider back to the line, particularly since it hasn't been back on the market since its original release all the way back in 2015 . S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Ground Form (25th Anniversary Edition) is a retail release, and the first of several Kamen Rider Agito  Figuarts releases planned for 2026 and 2027.

Release Date: February 2026 RRP: 9900 yen The reveal of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 1/Takeshi Hongo ( Kamen Rider: The Next ) as the 100th Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider release came as quite a pleasant surprise, even though it absolutely deserved its place given it was the figure that kicked off the whole S.H. Figuarts toy line. Of course it was also far too good of a figure to be left on its own as well, so after a slight wait Bandai Tamashii Nations have returned to the world of 2008's Kamen Rider: The Next  with the release of S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider 2/Hayato Ichimonji ( Kamen Rider: The Next ). In the film, Hayato returns on the brink of death, his wasting disease becoming more debilitating without regular transfusions from Shocker. Nevertheless he fights alongside Hongo once more, even at the cost of his own life. As with the Rider 1 figure, this new version of The Next 's Kamen Rider 2 was released as a Tamashii web exclusive .

Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider is available on Crunchyroll With the release of Fuuto PI back in 2022 there was the fleeting hope that it may result in more Kamen Rider anime series, but while an adaptation of Kamen Rider Spirits is still nowhere to be found in the meantime Liden Films ( Cells at Work! CODE BLACK , Tokyo Revengers , Goblin Slayer II ) have come along with the next best thing. Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider is a 24-episode adaptation of Yokusaru Shibata 's ongoing manga series of the same name, made in cooperation with both Toei and Ishimori Productions  - giving it official recognition as a spin-off (of sorts) of the wider franchise. With its release also coinciding with the main show taking its first steps in wider streaming on YouTube , newcomers who discover Kamen Rider through this show also might want to consider checking out current series Kamen Rider Zeztz as their first steps into the wider world of this iconic franchise.

Whilst one could argue that Kamen Rider Gavv ended on a fairly satisfying note, there were still plenty of plot threads left open to be explored in future instalments. Something that's been mandatory for Kamen Rider for well over a decade now, as there needs to be something to cover in the obligatory V-Cinext epilogue movie. As also tends to be the standard for these films, Kamen Rider Gavv: Guilty Parfait  shines the spotlight on the series' secondary and only (heroic) human Rider - Hanto Karakida , aka Kamen Rider Valen . The one-hour film was written by Gavv 's main writer Junko Komura , and directed by Takayuki Shibasaki .

Release Date: December 2025 RRP: 11,000 yen If there's one thing you can often guarantee about a Kamen Rider 1 figure, it's that a Kamen Rider 2 figure usually isn't that far behind it. After revitalising their standard and Sakurajima version Kamen Rider 1 figures with new "Legendary Showa Masked Rider Edition" versions, the least Bandai Tamashii Nations could do is offer the same treatment up to his successor. But as well as bringing the figure more in line with the more recent Showa era releases, S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider 2 (Legendary Showa Masked Riders Edition) has another surprise in store for fans who've watched Hayato Ichimonji 's costume evolve over the years.

Release Date: December 2025 RRP:  7150 yen With both S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2 getting new "Legendary Showa Masked Rider Edition" re-releases, Bandai Tamashii Nations were wise to bring back another iconic figure from the original 1971 series . The Shocker Combatman went through many evolutions over the course of the series, but the final "Bone" version is arguably considered the most recognisable - having gone on to reappear in later shows and just become part of the franchise iconography as a whole. The S.H. Figuarts Shocker Combatman (Evil Showa Kaijin Edition) figure is the third version (of this variant) of the evil organisation's expendable henchmen to be released in the line - following on from the first edition in 2013 and then a second in 2018 .

Release Date: December 2025 RRP:  7150 yen Once upon a time collectors would have to wait a good few months to get the latest Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts release, but with production on new series happening a lot earlier now Bandai Tamashii Nations have also sped up production on their end as well. The last few years have seen new Riders coming out in the early months of the year, but S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zeztz Physicam Impact arrived just in time to see 2025 out – a mere four months after the series first debuted. Sadly no cheaper price tag this time around (although at 7150 yen he’s still quite reasonable), but both the earlier release date and being a general retail release are fairly reasonably trade-offs.

Release Date:  October 2025 RRP: 9900 yen While the order in which Bandai Tamashii Nations  are introducing Heisei-era Kamen Riders into the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou line seems to be random, when it comes to the Showa era the pattern is a little more predictable. For the last couple of years we've been treated to a new addition to the roster each year, with 2025 finally seeing the completion of the original "Seven Legendary Riders" with the long-awaited release of S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Stronger.  However despite the character's popularity and significance of the show itself he, along with V3 , Riderman and X , was still inexplicably a Tamashii web exclusive release rather than general retail.

Parallel worlds are a staple of Kamen Rider movies. From the “completely unrelated to the main series” movies of the early Heisei era to the newer “main character from the series travels to an alternate world” take, it’s an effective way to tell raise the stakes and tell a self-contained story without being confined by the parameters of the main story. With the format working well for last year’s Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak , it isn’t all that surprising to see Kamen Rider Gavv ’s movie offering to do a similar thing – swapping the alternate timeline setting for a more straightforward parallel world. Kamen Rider Gavv the Movie: Invaders of the House of Snacks was written by Junko Komura , directed by Teruaki Sugihara and released in cinemas alongside No.1 Sentai Gozyuger: Resurrection of Tega Sword . It’s also notable for being the only Gavv movie release, with Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull previously taking the spot of the usual Winter team-up film.

Release Date: November 2025 RRP: 13,750 yen Once upon a time Tamashii Nation event exclusives were reserved for the most unique of Kamen Rider forms - movie exclusives, one-off variants, that sort of thing. But when Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Diend was revealed as an event exclusive in 2019 it was a sign of things to come, and now its fair to say that anything outside of key characters and final forms could be an exclusive. So appears to be the case for  Kamen Rider Gaim , with  S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Jimber Lemon Arms  selected as the  Kamen Rider  representative for 2025. With Bandai Tamashii Nations  debuting the  Gaim  range in 2024 its selection as a series doesn't come as a huge surprise, but seeing a form that was once a Tamashii web exclusive back in 2014 reappear in an even more limited form just goes to show how the market has shifted.

Release Date:  November 2025 RRP: 11,000 yen If there's one thing you can guarantee about Bandai Tamashii Nations (or any toy company that has any sort of business sense really) is that if a particular release is popular, they're going to milk it. The original S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider 1 figure released all the way back in 2017, but returned once more (albeit it with a slightly altered colour scheme) in 2021 as a "50th anniversary editon". Now it's back once more in the form of the  S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider 1 (Legendary Showa Masked Riders Edition) , once again slightly updating the deco whilst bringing it more in line with some of the more recent Showa era Kamen Rider releases. 

Release Date: September 2025 RRP: 11,000 yen Kamen Rider Gaim 's introduction to the Shinkocchou Seihou line came as a bit of surprise - not one that was by any means unwelcome but there are arguably much far dated figures in the S.H. Figuarts repertoire more deserving of a spot in Bandai Tamashii Nations' "true bone carving" line. That said - Gaim and Baron quickly justified their existence with not only improved sculpts and proportions, but also the implementation of the "Arms Change" gimmick that brought a whole new level of play and display to the figures. Although an additional Pine and Ichigo Arms Change set for Gaim released earlier in the year, it's not much fun only having two Riders to use the gimmick with - especially when Gaim has such a big roster. 11 years after the release of his original figure S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Ryugen Budou Arms is the third Gaim Rider to receive the true bone carving treatment, thoug...

Release Date: August 2025 RRP: 9900 yen It doesn't seem like all that long ago that simply having all the Heisei era Kamen Riders in the S.H. Figuarts line was a big achievement (who can forget the agonising wait for Kiva ?), but suddenly we're also one step away from having all the Heisei Phase one Riders as part of the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou line as well. Last year we saw Bandai Tamashii Nations kick off a big multi-Rider series with the release of Kamen Rider Gaim figures, and in 2025 they're doing it all again with the original big multi-Rider series - Kamen Rider Ryuki . S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Ryuki kicks a whole new range off for S.H. Figuarts' premium line, and if you're planning to get them all - you better strap yourself in for an expensive commitment. Ryuki himself is a retail release, but based on Bandai's current release patterns it seems unlikely the others will follow suite.

The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club pulls from all corners of the Kamen Rider franchise when it comes to inspiration for its specials, and one of its most deserved and overdue offerings in recent years is Girls Remix - a celebration of the heroines of Kamen Rider . Whereas the first Girls Remix special in 2022 was a largely self-contained crossover, when it returned in 2025 with Kamen Rider Majade with Girls Remix it hinted towards a much bigger storyline. Luckily fans haven't had to wait too long for the next instalment, as it gets into the spooky season with Girls Remix in Halloween Party . Key cast members Akiko , Rinne and Hana return once more, this time bringing in new characters from Kamen Rider Kiva , Kamen Rider Wizard , Kamen Rider Geats , Kamen Rider Gotchard and Kamen Rider Gavv .
