Release Date: June 2026 RRP: $99.99/£91.99 After Hasbro spoiled Transformers fans in 2025 with the release of both Devastator and Superion in the Studio Series and Age of the Primes lines respectively, 2026 is definitely the year of Bruticus . After teasing collectors last year with Vortex , the rest of the Combaticons have been steadily releasing over the last few months. Next came Brawl and Blast Off , with Age of the Primes Onslaught next in line before Swindle rounds off the team. The leader of the Combaticons comes as as a Commander Class  figure, not only due to his own larger size but also incorporating the Bruticus combiner frame parts in the same manner Motormaster and Silverbolt did for their respective teams.

Release Date: May 2026 RRP: $42.99/£35.99 Even though the Studio Series (86) line has covered most of the main characters from Transformers: The Movie  in the five years since it began, that doesn't mean Hasbro still don't have plenty of releases on hand to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary. There are still plenty of characters that played bit parts in the movie to be featured, many of which are fan-favourites from the earlier seasons of the Generation One cartoon. One such example is the Voyager Class   Studio Series Shockwave , the loyal Decepticon who remained on Cybertron as the rest travelled to Earth at the beginning of the series. Shockwave only makes three brief appearances in the movie - the beginning to inform Megatron of Laserbeak's return, then during Starscream's coronation and finally alerting the Decepticons of Unicron's attack. Though scripted and storyboarded to die in this scene, it was left out of the final movie - leaving his fate ambigu...

Release Date: July 2026 RRP: 8800 yen Given how many years it ran for there weren't a great of characters from the Ultra Series that the old Ultra-Act line missed out on (pre- Ultraman Ginga  anyway), so every time Bandai Tamashii Nations announce something for the S.H. Figuarts line that wasn't previously covered it's particularly exciting - especially when that line is also quite extensive at this point. With a number of titular Ultras from mainline series still to be released, it's unlikely many were expecting an S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Zearth anytime soon - and yet here we are. The Ultraman from the Land of Bright in Nebula Z95 and star of two official parody films in 1996 and 1997 (the former of which was released in celebration of the franchise's 30th anniversary) arrives as a Tamashii Web exclusive , giving fans their first opportunity to own a high-end poseable figure of this rather unique Ultra.

Release Date:  July 2026 RRP: 8800 yen Evil Ultramen have become a staple part of the franchise of the years, with the tradition going all the way back to episode eighteen of the original 1966 series "Brother from Another Planet" , where Alien Zarab disguised himself as Ultraman and wreaked havoc across Tokyo in order to discredit him. With the episode also being among the ones adapted into Shin Ultraman , one would think that the original fake Ultraman would be a chief contender for an S.H. Figuarts release. Yet it wasn't until 2026 that S.H. Figuarts Imit-Ultraman finally became a reality, released as an event exclusive to commemorate Tamashii Nations Live Action Figure Expo 2026 .

The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club has been the home of various pieces of Kamen Rider , Super Sentai  and now Project R.E.D.  spin-off material for many years now, but with most of these taking the form as one-off episodes or limited mini-series few have seemed quite as expansive as Kamen Rider Zeztz: Series of Sister's Substory Agent Minami . Though its episodes may only be two to three minutes long, this companion piece to Kamen Rider Zeztz  ran for a whole 50 episodes - with a new episode releasing each week to accompany the main series. Shifting the focus onto Baku's sister Minami (played by Miki Yagi ), the series was written by Yusuki Naito (under the supervision of Zeztz head writer Yuya Takahashi ) and directed by Tomonobu Koshi .

It’s taken a long time to get here, but on the advent of its 55th anniversary the Kamen Rider franchise finally took its first steps to truly going worldwide. Whilst English-speaking audiences (primarily in the US) have been able to enjoy both streaming and Blu-Ray releases of older series for some time, it wasn’t until Kamen Rider Zeztz – the seventh main instalment in the Reiwa era and 36th overall, that Toei finally opened up a currently airing series to audiences outside of Japan and select Asian regions. The show was licensed by Shout Factory and simulcast with English subtitles via their TokuSHOUTsu YouTube channel in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand, while TokuSato handled distribution in South America. Release Date: July 2026 RRP: 15,400 yen 2026 marks two big anniversaries for the Ultraman franchise. Not only is it celebrating its 60th anniversary, but the S.H. Figuarts range is also celebrating its tenth anniversary - having first started back in 2016 to mark the 50th anniversary. As such, Bandai Tamashii Nations have some big plans for the line over the next year or so - with plenty of announcements still yet to come. Kicking the celebrations off in style however is S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Ultraman 60th Anniversary - a lavish new edition of the original giant of light from Nebula M78. The figure was released as at general retail, sporting a much higher price tag than previous editions of the figure due to the sheer number of new parts and accessories included in the set.

Release Date: July 2026 RRP: 12,000 yen With Aniplex dipping into the likes of Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill in their BUZZmod line it felt like it was only a matter of time until Cyberpunk Edgerunners joined them, and Aniplex were very wise to ensure that once the first figure dropped fans wouldn't be waiting too long for the rest of the (core) cast. After the range first kicked off with Lucy back in April, now BUZZmod Rebecca joins her only a couple of months later - and David also still to come before the year is done. With Jada Toys' version of the pint-sized powder keg still yet to be released, this is the first official rendition of one of Edgerunners'  most popular characters.

Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryuki was so popular is that Bandai Tamashii Nations made the surprise decision to include Dragreder  with it, and while the same sadly couldn't be said for the 2025 S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou version that doesn't mean he has to go without his contract monster. With the  S.H. Figuarts Dragreder & Kamen Rider Ryuki Option Parts Set comes a brand new version of the monster alongside additional accessories and display parts for Ryuki himself. This one however is not only a Tamashii Web exclusive but also considerably more expensive than the original Ryuki release, which just goes to show how much prices have changed in the last 15 years.

2026 marks the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman franchise, and whilst there might not be any big projects like Shin Ultraman  in the immediate pipeline to celebrate that doesn't mean Tsuburaya Productions doesn't have plenty of other things up their sleeves to mark the occasion. In addition to currently airing series Ultraman Teo , there's also Ultraman Zero Cosmo Rise: Rise! Heroes of Light! - a brand new special both celebrating the anniversary and introducing fans to Zero's brand new Cosmo Rise form. The 25-minute special is available on the official Ultraman YouTube channel , was written by Junichiro Ashiki and directed by Koichi Sakamoto - both of whom most recently worked on the Ultra Galaxy Fight specials.

Release Date: May 2026 RRP: 5280 yen Arguably one of the most common criticisms of the S.H. Figuarts line is that there could always be more accessories. For the most part Bandai Tamashii Nations do a good job of providing all the essentials, but photographers and/or those with a larger display space quite often have to look elsewhere for generic scenario-based parts. Every so often Bandai throws out a surprise though, with the S.H. Figuarts Party Set -The Straw Hat Crew- being one such example. Now fans of the One Piece line can bring their figures to life on the deck of the Going Merry, with a number of diorama accessories to recreate their signature celebrations. The Party Set was a mass release item, coinciding with the release of Chopper -Drum Island- .

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: $34.99/£34.99 It's strange to think that back when the Studio Series first started tackling characters from Transformers: The Movie  the film was celebrating its 35th anniversary, and now here we are five years later celebrating its 40th. In that time the line has gone from strength to strength, but some of those first releases still remain its best. And since you can't really celebrate its anniversary without its lead character, this was the perfect time for Hasbro to roll out  Studio Series MTMTE Collection Hot Rod . Released as a Target exclusive in North America as per the rest of the MTMTE Collection capsule, this new version of the turbo-revving young punk features a new movie-accurate colour scheme as well as brand new accessories to separate him from the previous release.

Release Date: June 2026 RRP: 9900 yen Marvel vs Capcom fever continues over at Bandai Tamashii Nations with the third release in its revamped Marvel Gamerverse line-up - S.H. Figuarts Wolverine (Gamerverse) ! As the only character to appear in all of the original six  Capcom 2D fighting games ( X-Men: Children of the Atom , Marvel Super Heroes , X-Men vs Street Fighter , Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter , Marvel vs Capcom  and Marvel vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes ) as well as Marvel vs Capcom 3 , Wolverine was perhaps the most obvious choice to join the line next. Much like previous releases Cyclops  and Spider-Man , Wolverine is retail release figure that mixes up the characters' traditional comic book looks with video game aesthetics.

Release Date: June 2026 RRP: 13,200 yen With Ultraman celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026, Bandai Tamashii Nations have been pulling from all corners of the franchise for this year’s S.H. Figuarts offerings. As well as reissues and brand-new releases from the Showa, Heisei and New Generation eras, some of the more interesting choices have come from movies – the likes of Ultraman Saga, Hyper Zetton and Ultraman Zearth immediately springing to mind. Continuing this foray into Ultraman’s cinematic history is another dive into the saga of Ultraman Zero , or more specifically 2010’s Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial with the release of S.H. Figuarts Kaiser Belial . Based on his revised appearance as head of the Belial Galactic Empire, this Tamashii Web exclusive release is Figuarts’ latest rendition of the corrupted Ultra and one of the franchise’s most popular modern recurring villains.

It wasn't all that long ago tokusatsu fans were bidding a fond farewell to Super Sentai , and now the first instalment of its replacement has drawn to a close. Towards the end of 2025 Toei announced that taking the place of Super Sentai  would be Project R.E.D. (" Records of Extraordinary Dimensions ") - an ambitious new project primarily featuring red-coloured heroes as well as continuity between its instalments (which wouldn't follow a set pattern in the same way Super Sentai  did). Then in February 2026 Project R.E.D. officially launched with the premiere of Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity - a reboot and spiritual successor to Space Sheriff Gavan  (as well as the Space Sheriff trilogy and wider Metal Heroes  franchise), but also explicitly neither a continuation or relaunch of Metal Heroes. Release Date: May 2026 RRP: 4400 yen Whilst Bandai Tamashii Nations may have completed the Straw Hat crew as they appeared in the Romance Dawn Arc, that doesn't mean they're slowing down on One Piece S.H. Figuarts any time soon. As well as continuing forward with a number of figures based on the Marineford Arc, they are also expanding the pre-time skip era with additional Straw Hat members that joined at a later date.  S.H. Figuarts Tony Tony Chopper -Drum Island- is the first of these subsequent releases, with the crew's doctor the next to come aboard the Going Merry during the Drum Island Arc. As with the previous crew members Chopper is a retail release, and also the second Chopper figure in the line - a Future Island Egghead version having been previously released in 2025.

Every 13th September the Kamen Rider fandom celebrates Kaixa Day , honouring the utterly despicable yet somehow loveable character that is Masato Kusaka . 2025's Kaixa Day came with a particularly special announcement, with the reveal that an S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Kaixa figure was finally set for release. Given that it's been a few years since the release of Kamen Rider Faiz one might think this was one of the most obvious places for the Kamen Rider 555 line to go next, but in a classic case of Bandai Tamashii Nations throwing curveballs we've had both Next Kaixa and untransformed Masato Kusaka figures before the standard version. Like those figures, Shinkocchou Seihou Kaixa was also a Tamashii Web exclusive - with the original May shipment selling out almost imm...

Release Date: June 2026 RRP: £44.99 The Doctor Who action figure line has slowly but surely been building itself back up through a range of online exclusives that feature more new/upgraded tooling when compared to the B&M store exclusive retail figures, now culminating in its most ambitious wave in years. Over the next five months Character Options will be release one new figure set a month in their website exclusive Vortex Edition range, each featuring a build-a-figure piece to create a Yeti from 1967’s The Abominable Snowmen . Kicking off the wave is The Cybemen from Dark Water (2014) Vortex Edition figure set , a two-pack of the “Cyberiad” Cybermen that first appeared in 2013’s Nightmare in Silver  before subsequently appearing the 2014 series eight two-part finale Dark Water/Death in Heaven .

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 12,000 yen Given its immense popularity across the globe, it's amazing that it's taken this long for articulated Cyberpunk Edgerunners figures to happen. But as tends to be the case with these things, you patiently wait for one and then suddenly multiple options come at once. With Jada Toys ' offerings are the cheaper end of the spectrum and ThreeZero's FigZero  line on the opposite side, it isn't often you see a product from Aniplex sitting somewhere in the middle. BUZZmod Lucy is the first of the three figures the line is set to put out this year, with Rebecca releasing at the end of July and then David  following in November.

Figuarts  line, and in that time they've come pretty close to covering all of the titular heroes from the franchise's 60 year history. With the last few years having yielding the trinity of Tiga , Dyna and Gaia  in the Shinkocchou Seihou series as well as Mebius and   Cosmos  in the standard line, it's clear that the focus at the moment is very much on the Heisei era  - and as such the release of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Nexus Anphans was the obvious place for them to go next. Nexus' base form comes as a standard retail release, kicking off what has the potential to be a wide number of releases from this unique instalment in the Ultra Series .
