With the team spread across four years it was a bit of wait, but Hasbro definitely chose a good one to finish on. The Lighting Collection Dino Thunder Black Ranger is the final member of the team to be released, and is the final ranger form of legendary hero Tommy Oliver – now a palaeontologist and mentor a new team of rangers.

Release Date: July 2022 RRP: $27.99/£26.99 Another team in the Power Rangers  Lightning Collection comes to completion, although admittedly it is one that has already been completed a few times over already. Fans of the divisive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season three power up rejoice as the  Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin 'Metallic' White Ranger arrives to complete the original team of Power Rangers in metallic armour form. Like the rest of the team, leader Tommy Oliver is an exclusive release to Hasbro Pulse (where available).

Release Date: August 2020 RRP: $19.99/£19.99 The Lightning Collection may have provided fans with a reasonably varied selection of characters so far, but even Hasbro have fallen to the same fate as most Power Rangers figures - Tommy Oliver. As the longest-serving ranger running across multiple series, it doesn’t take long for multiple Tommys to show up in a toy line and in just over a year the Lightning Collection is already up to six. Among those released so far is the Lightning Collection Zeo Red Ranger , our red ranger of the line’s sixth wave and third entry from Power Rangers Zeo . Following the destruction of the Command Centre, the Power Rangers are infused with new powers from the gathered Zeo Crystal - becoming stronger than before to battle the new threat of the Machine Empire .

Release Date: November 2019 RRP: $20/£20 While the show itself might be continuing on strongly, for many older fans one of the more exciting Power Rangers projects to have come out in recent years is the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book series from Boom! Studios , adding in brand new stories of the original team whilst bringing it into a more modern setting. The comic's first big event was Shattered Grid , which saw all Rangers across time, space and dimensions threatened by Lord Drakkon - an alternate universe version of Tommy Oliver that continued on the path of evil. Though the comics have created more of their own rangers since Drakkon has certainly had the most impact on the franchise as a whole, so naturally fans quickly clamoured for fans of the evil Green and White Ranger fusion.
