The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club has been the home of various pieces of Kamen Rider , Super Sentai  and now Project R.E.D.  spin-off material for many years now, but with most of these taking the form as one-off episodes or limited mini-series few have seemed quite as expansive as Kamen Rider Zeztz: Series of Sister's Substory Agent Minami . Though its episodes may only be two to three minutes long, this companion piece to Kamen Rider Zeztz  ran for a whole 50 episodes - with a new episode releasing each week to accompany the main series. Shifting the focus onto Baku's sister Minami (played by Miki Yagi ), the series was written by Yusuki Naito (under the supervision of Zeztz head writer Yuya Takahashi ) and directed by Tomonobu Koshi .

Super Sentai  may be on indefinite hiatus as far as further series are concerned, but that doesn't mean the franchise has completely run out of steam yet. Thanks to platforms like the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club streaming service that's still plenty of opportunities to tell more stories through the likes of mini-series and one-off specials, with more from No.1 Sentai Gozyuger among the first of its offerings in this "post- Sentai " landscape. No.1 Sentai Gozyuger: Polar Beginning transports us back to the year 2005 and the first Ring Battle, shedding more light on the past of Mashiro Kumade - the first Gozyu Wolf  who would later re-join the battle for the rings as the sixth Gozyuger, Gozyu Polar . Interestingly the one-off special was written by Keiichi Hasagawa ( Ultraman Dyna ,  Ultraman Nexus , Kamen Rider Gotchard ), rather than series head writer Akiko Inoue .

Over the past couple of years the Girls Remix series of Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club specials hasn't just been a brilliant way to bring back the heroines of the Kamen Rider franchise in one multi-series crossover. It's also been building towards something - particularly in its last two instalments Kamen Rider Majade with Girls Remix  and Girls Remix in Halloween Party . Now the story reaches its climactic conclusion (for the time being at least) in Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix , reuniting many of the cast members from across the previous specials once more alongside representatives from Kamen Rider 555  and Kamen Rider Fourze as well as a few other surprises along the way.

The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club pulls from all corners of the Kamen Rider franchise when it comes to inspiration for its specials, and one of its most deserved and overdue offerings in recent years is Girls Remix - a celebration of the heroines of Kamen Rider . Whereas the first Girls Remix special in 2022 was a largely self-contained crossover, when it returned in 2025 with Kamen Rider Majade with Girls Remix it hinted towards a much bigger storyline. Luckily fans haven't had to wait too long for the next instalment, as it gets into the spooky season with Girls Remix in Halloween Party . Key cast members Akiko , Rinne and Hana return once more, this time bringing in new characters from Kamen Rider Kiva , Kamen Rider Wizard , Kamen Rider Geats , Kamen Rider Gotchard and Kamen Rider Gavv .

Once upon a time a big multi-series Super Sentai crossover could be considered a special occasion, but with the arrival of Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club it seems more like an everyday occurrence. Nevertheless it's always fun to see which franchise alumni come back for these streaming service specials, and  Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Formation Lap: Settlers of the Galaxy offers quite the cast list. As well as serving as a prequel to Bun Violet and Byun Diesel 's arrival in Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger , the one-off special also features returning cast members from Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger , Avataro Sentai Donbrothers , Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger , Uchu Sentai Kyuranger AND Engine Sentai Go-Onger . Just another day in this wild and wonderful multiverse we call Super Sentai .

Amongst the weird and wonderful specials that find their way onto the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club , Kamen Rider Jeanne & Kamen Rider Aguilera with Girls Remix was a particularly special gem. Celebrating numerous women from across the Kamen Rider universe whether they were Riders or not, the three-part miniseries was exactly the kind of crossover that the streaming service should be investing time into. So it’s extremely pleasing to see that (some of) the gang are back once again for a follow up release – Kamen Rider Majade with Girls Remix . This time simply taking the form of a one-off special, it’s Rinne Kudo taking the spotlight as her story continues beyond Kamen Rider Gotchard: Graduations – bringing with her some new members to the group as well as the established roster.

Kamen Rider Gotchard is a series that certainly isn’t short of backstory. Between the creation of the Chemies, Glion’s relationship with Fuga Kudo and experiments with dark alchemy as well as the formation and students of the Alchemy Academy, it has plenty of potential for spin-off material for long after the series has come to an end. But a good place to start is with fan favourite characters, and when they’re also villains you’ve got the perfect recipe for a Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club special. The Dark Revelation: Lachesis is an exploration into the origins of the youngest of the Three Dark Sisters , receiving a limited theatrical release in Japan before arriving on the streaming platform at the beginning of April 2025.

Over the years the Kamen Rider franchise has evolved in many different ways, and one of the more noticeable changes throughout the Heisei and Reiwa eras has been a shift towards having Riders themselves as principle villains in the series rather than standard monsters. This has created quite the range of villainous Riders, many of which have now come together in what is arguably the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club 's biggest project yet - Kamen Rider Outsiders . Beginning its story with a prologue episode in 2022 before releasing a further seven in intervals across 2023 and 2024, writer Yuya Takahashi brings together his three main series ( Ex-Aid , Zero-One and Geats ), along with characters and threads from several other Kamen Rider shows in this grand-scale story.

Between both  Donbrothers and Kyoryuger it's fair to say that Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger has proven itself to be quite flexible when it comes to crossovers. The 47th Super Sentai series was also quite large when it came to scope too, given both its time skip and the intergalactic elements it incorporated into the story following that. As such the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club 's latest special is the perfect match, bringing all these elements together in the rather aptly named Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger IN SPACE . This short one-off special reunites characters from King-Ohger and Kyoryuger for a third time, as well as bringing in familiar faces from Ohranger , Gingaman ,  Dekaranger and Kyuranger . 

Super Sentai fans have been lucky enough to celebrate some milestone anniversaries in style the last few years, with specials, crossover movies and the like to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kyoryuger as well as the 20th anniversaries of Hurricaneger , Abaranger and Dekaranger . But a 30th anniversary special? Well that's something new for the franchise entirely. Ninja Sentai Kakuranger: Act Three - Middle-Aged Struggles is a Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club  special celebrating 30 years of the first ninja Super Sentai team , reuniting the full team for the first time in decades for an all-new chapter in their story alongside other favourites from the series.

The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club April Fools' joke has become something of an annual tradition now, with them teasing some bizarre joke concept only for them to go and turn it into a viable special. For its 2024 rendition they announced its first ever romance drama in the form of "First Love Detective", to then later reveal the following day that the production was in fact Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger with Tombo Ohger . Coinciding with Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger 's 20th anniversary movie Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger 20th: Fireball Booster , the one-off special reunites the "Girls in Trouble" Jasmine and Umeko in a crossover with Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger 's Yanma Gast .

If there's any concrete proof that literally anything is on the table when comes to Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club specials, it's the fact that for some unbeknownst reason there's been not just one but FOUR Yodonna spin-off episodes. What it is about the Mashin Sentai Kiramager villainess that warrants such bizarre adult-aimed specials isn't exactly clear (though it doesn't take much to guess), but whatever it is it clearly proved popular enough for them to continue into 2024. That said, as its name suggests Mashin Sentai Kiramager Spin-Off: Yodonna THE FINAL is set to be the last in the series – rounding off her new life on Earth having now learned about human emotions.

With quite easily the most Kamen Riders introduced in a single series ever, Kamen Rider Geats certainly isn't going to run out of fodder for spin-off fodder any time soon. The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club already got a good head start on ancillary material during the show's run, and it looks to be continuing on following its conclusion with the release of Geats Extra: Kamen Rider Gazer . This one-off special is the third major instalment in the Geats Extra series (following on from Kamen Rider PunkJack  and Kamen Rider Tycoon meets Kamen Rider Shinobi ), chronicling the origins of Niramu/Kamen Rider Gazer as well as acting as a prequel of sorts to the Kamen Rider Geats: Jyamato Awaking V-Cinext release.

If you need proof that everyone loves Avataro Sentai Donbrothers , then just look no further than the number of crossovers the team are getting. As well as meeting up with predecessors Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and then (presumably) successors Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger in the near future, Momoi Taro and his band of companions have also crossed paths with a few other veteran Super Sentai teams as well. Much in the way Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger with Donbrothers was produced as a fun little prelude to Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Degozaru! Shushuuto 20th Anniversary , the team also getting to show off their dino guts in Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger with Donbrothers – a Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club prequel to Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger 20th: The Unforgivable Abare .

While Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger may be in full swing, you can never keep a good Super Sentai series down - and if any series isn't going to stay down, it's Avataro Sentai Donbrothers . The success of the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club streaming service has allowed shows to stick around longer than ever before, and given its penchant for comedy arguably there isn't a better place for the 36th Super Sentai series. Taro, Haruka, Shinichi, Tsubasa, Tsuyoshi, Jiro and the gang return once more in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers vs. Avataro Sentai Donburis  - a one-off special originally coined as a hoax during the press conference for the main series. Series head writer Toshiki Inoue did not return to pen the special, with it instead written by Ayumi Shimo ( Hero Mama League ) and directed by Hirofumi Fukuzawa .

The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club has provided some pretty strange specials over the past few years, but there are few quite as weird as  Mashin Sentai Kiramager Spin-Off: Yodonna . Bringing back the fan-favourite villain from the 2020-2021 Super Sentai series is one thing, but place in this strange adult-orientated special full of violence, cosplay and very obvious titillation is another. However it was clearly a success with its target audience, because a few years later and she's back once again in Yodonna 3: Yodonna's Valentine . Once again the Yodonheim general brings with her some familiar tokusatsu alumni in a story that just has to be seen to be believed, written by Tete Inoue and directed by Koichi Sakamoto .

He may be a year and half late, but finally the real Kamen Rider of 2022 has returned. In a parallel universe somewhere, Rider fans have been enjoying the adventures of Kamen Rider Shinobi for some time now and his series is reaching its endgame. Over in this universe however, we've been left in the lurch after first meeting him in Kamen Rider Zi-O and then an all too brief introduction to his story in Rider Time: Kamen Rider Shinobi . It's been a long wait, but now he finally returns in Geats Extra: Kamen Rider Tycoon Meets Kamen Rider Shinobi ! The second of the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club 's Kamen Rider Geats spin-offs unites our current ninja-themed Rider meet the alternate world hero, along with other ninja Riders from across the franchise.

Kamen Rider Geats is a series with a lot different Riders (and given there's still a few months of it left, potentially more to come), so when it comes to the various spin-offs Kamen Rider fans are treated to it makes sense to get a head start on covering the essentials. The first of the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club 's Geats -centric specials is Geats Extra: Kamen Rider PunkJack , which aims to fill in some additional information about the Desire Grand Prix as well as add some additional context behind the Rider's return in episode 35. The special consists of one 27-minute episode, and was announced alongside the forthcoming Geats Extra: Kamen Rider Tycoon meets Kamen Rider Shinobi .

On top of it being the 50th anniversary series, the sheer number of Riders that appear in Kamen Rider Revice made it clear that there was plenty of spin-off potential to be mined from it. While more obvious candidates got their shot at the spotlight either during the actual run of the series or in the more prestigious V-Cinema release , there's always the post-series Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club exclusives to think of as well. Of course, these are also an opportunity to add even more Riders to the mix as well. Kamen Rider Juuga VS Kamen Rider Orteca just happens to do both - putting series mainstay and Kamen Rider fanboy George Karizaki in the spotlight as he fights off against former Deadmans member Orteca as he finally takes on his own Rider form.

With Super Sentai having been continuously on the air since 1975, every year is an anniversary of some sort. But when it comes to teams that celebrate their anniversaries in style, none do it quite like Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger . After celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2013 with Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 YEARS AFTER , they'll be back again later this year to celebrate 20 years with Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Degozaru! Shushuuto 20th Anniversary. The cast's return has also heralded Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger with Donbrothers , a short 15-minute special for the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club which sees the 26th Super Sentai team crossover with the latest instalment.
