Release Date: April 2026 RRP: $34.99/£34.99 It's strange to think that back when the Studio Series first started tackling characters from Transformers: The Movie  the film was celebrating its 35th anniversary, and now here we are five years later celebrating its 40th. In that time the line has gone from strength to strength, but some of those first releases still remain its best. And since you can't really celebrate its anniversary without its lead character, this was the perfect time for Hasbro to roll out  Studio Series MTMTE Collection Hot Rod . Released as a Target exclusive in North America as per the rest of the MTMTE Collection capsule, this new version of the turbo-revving young punk features a new movie-accurate colour scheme as well as brand new accessories to separate him from the previous release.

Release Date: June 2026 RRP: 9900 yen Marvel vs Capcom fever continues over at Bandai Tamashii Nations with the third release in its revamped Marvel Gamerverse line-up - S.H. Figuarts Wolverine (Gamerverse) ! As the only character to appear in all of the original six  Capcom 2D fighting games ( X-Men: Children of the Atom , Marvel Super Heroes , X-Men vs Street Fighter , Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter , Marvel vs Capcom  and Marvel vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes ) as well as Marvel vs Capcom 3 , Wolverine was perhaps the most obvious choice to join the line next. Much like previous releases Cyclops  and Spider-Man , Wolverine is retail release figure that mixes up the characters' traditional comic book looks with video game aesthetics.

Release Date: June 2026 RRP: 13,200 yen With Ultraman celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026, Bandai Tamashii Nations have been pulling from all corners of the franchise for this year’s S.H. Figuarts offerings. As well as reissues and brand-new releases from the Showa, Heisei and New Generation eras, some of the more interesting choices have come from movies – the likes of Ultraman Saga, Hyper Zetton and Ultraman Zearth immediately springing to mind. Continuing this foray into Ultraman’s cinematic history is another dive into the saga of Ultraman Zero , or more specifically 2010’s Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial with the release of S.H. Figuarts Kaiser Belial . Based on his revised appearance as head of the Belial Galactic Empire, this Tamashii Web exclusive release is Figuarts’ latest rendition of the corrupted Ultra and one of the franchise’s most popular modern recurring villains.

Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity may have been a loving tribute to one of their most iconic tokusatsu superhero series, but for the second instalment in Project R.E.D.   Toei  seem to be trying something new. Channelling the likes of Monster Hunter and Pokémon , Kakuseihunter Omegahorn turns the focus slightly away from transforming superheroes and brings kaiju to the forefront of the series. With characters and elements from Gavan Infinity also carrying over, Atsuhiro Tomioka continues on as head writer for the series - now joined by  Hiroyuki Kato and Jun Watanabe as director and action director respectively.

It wasn't all that long ago tokusatsu fans were bidding a fond farewell to Super Sentai , and now the first instalment of its replacement has drawn to a close. Towards the end of 2025 Toei announced that taking the place of Super Sentai  would be Project R.E.D. (" Records of Extraordinary Dimensions ") - an ambitious new project primarily featuring red-coloured heroes as well as continuity between its instalments (which wouldn't follow a set pattern in the same way Super Sentai  did). Then in February 2026 Project R.E.D. officially launched with the premiere of Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity - a reboot and spiritual successor to Space Sheriff Gavan  (as well as the Space Sheriff trilogy and wider Metal Heroes  franchise), but also explicitly neither a continuation or relaunch of Metal Heroes. Written by Atsuhiro Tomioka ( Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger , as well as numerous anime credits) and directed by Hirofumi Fukuzawa (who has worked as action director on every S...

Release Date: May 2026 RRP: 4400 yen Whilst Bandai Tamashii Nations may have completed the Straw Hat crew as they appeared in the Romance Dawn Arc, that doesn't mean they're slowing down on One Piece S.H. Figuarts any time soon. As well as continuing forward with a number of figures based on the Marineford Arc, they are also expanding the pre-time skip era with additional Straw Hat members that joined at a later date.  S.H. Figuarts Tony Tony Chopper -Drum Island- is the first of these subsequent releases, with the crew's doctor the next to come aboard the Going Merry during the Drum Island Arc. As with the previous crew members Chopper is a retail release, and also the second Chopper figure in the line - a Future Island Egghead version having been previously released in 2025.

Release Date: March 2026 RRP: 12,100 yen There are plenty of Kamen Riders that are super popular amongst fans, but few are so popular that they have a whole day dedicated to them. Every 13th September the Kamen Rider fandom celebrates Kaixa Day , honouring the utterly despicable yet somehow loveable character that is Masato Kusaka . 2025's Kaixa Day came with a particularly special announcement, with the reveal that an S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Kaixa figure was finally set for release. Given that it's been a few years since the release of Kamen Rider Faiz one might think this was one of the most obvious places for the Kamen Rider 555 line to go next, but in a classic case of Bandai Tamashii Nations throwing curveballs we've had both Next Kaixa and untransformed Masato Kusaka figures before the standard version. Like those figures, Shinkocchou Seihou Kaixa was also a Tamashii Web exclusive - with the original May shipment selling out almost imm...

Release Date: June 2026 RRP: £44.99 The Doctor Who action figure line has slowly but surely been building itself back up through a range of online exclusives that feature more new/upgraded tooling when compared to the B&M store exclusive retail figures, now culminating in its most ambitious wave in years. Over the next five months Character Options will be release one new figure set a month in their website exclusive Vortex Edition range, each featuring a build-a-figure piece to create a Yeti from 1967’s The Abominable Snowmen . Kicking off the wave is The Cybemen from Dark Water (2014) Vortex Edition figure set , a two-pack of the “Cyberiad” Cybermen that first appeared in 2013’s Nightmare in Silver  before subsequently appearing the 2014 series eight two-part finale Dark Water/Death in Heaven .

It doesn't really feel like that long ago that Ultraman was celebrating its 55th anniversary, but the last five years have clearly flown by and now the franchise is in the midst of its 60th birthday. And whilst there sadly might not be a big budget movie like Shin Ultraman to commemorate the milestone this time around, that doesn't mean Tsuburaya Productions aren't going to celebrate the occasion. The birthday bash kicks off with the premiere of its latest instalment Ultraman Teo , which once again will be released globally with multi-language subtitles (and once again a simultaneously-released English language dub) thanks to the ULTRAMAN Official YouTube channel . Teo 's main writer/series compositor is newcomer to the franchise Shigenori Tanabe , with Takashi Ninomiya and Takanori Tsujimoto as the main director and special effects director respectively.

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 12,000 yen Given its immense popularity across the globe, it's amazing that it's taken this long for articulated Cyberpunk Edgerunners figures to happen. But as tends to be the case with these things, you patiently wait for one and then suddenly multiple options come at once. With Jada Toys ' offerings are the cheaper end of the spectrum and ThreeZero's FigZero  line on the opposite side, it isn't often you see a product from Aniplex sitting somewhere in the middle. BUZZmod Lucy is the first of the three figures the line is set to put out this year, with Rebecca releasing at the end of July and then David  following in November.

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 8800 yen It's been nearly ten years since Bandai Tamashii Nations  closed the curtain on the Ultra-Act line and integrated Ultraman into the S.H. Figuarts  line, and in that time they've come pretty close to covering all of the titular heroes from the franchise's 60 year history. With the last few years having yielding the trinity of Tiga , Dyna and Gaia  in the Shinkocchou Seihou series as well as Mebius and   Cosmos  in the standard line, it's clear that the focus at the moment is very much on the Heisei era  - and as such the release of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Nexus Anphans was the obvious place for them to go next. Nexus' base form comes as a standard retail release, kicking off what has the potential to be a wide number of releases from this unique instalment in the Ultra Series .

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 11,000 yen Naturally Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2 (aka the "Double Riders") have been a staple of the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou range since near its beginning, and over the years various versions of their iconic suits have frequented the line. It has however previously been far more Kamen Rider 1 focused - the numerous retail versions of his final "New" suit having been accompanied by Tamashii Nation event exclusive releases of his Sakurajima and Original suits in 2018 and 2022 respectively (with a reissue of the Sakurajima suit in 2025). However Bandai Tamashii Nations have been showing plenty of Rider 2 love in the last year or so, with a new version of his "New" suit released at the end of 2025 and The Next version following a few months later. Now arguably the most important version has arrived, with the long-awaited release of S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider 2 ( Kamen Rider vs. Shocker Ver . ...

Release Date: October 2025 RRP: $39.99 Blokees' Neon Genesis Evangelion range is among some of its most popular items, which is quite impressive for a company that has gathered so many licenses under its belt in a few short years. Their Action Edition model kit range has already covered all of the core Units from the Rebuild of Evangelion films, as well as some TV series editions and the pilots themselves over in their Fantastics Series  line. Blokees Action Editon Evangelion Production Model 02  is a particularly interesting release as there are now two variations on the market - a standard version which is available worldwide, and an upgraded edition with revised joints and extra accessories that's currently only available in China.

Release Date: November 2025 RRP: 8800 yen The 30th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion has brought with it a whole host of new figures from a variety of companies, with the pilots proving to be just as much a focus as the Evangelion Units themselves. The franchise has been a staple in Bandai Tamashii Nations lines like Robot Spirits and Metal Build for some time, but at long last they’ve done what collectors have wanted for years and brought the cast to the S.H. Figuarts line as well. S.H. Figuarts Asuka Shikinami Langley was released at general retail shortly after fellow pilot Rei Ayanami at the tail end of 2025, with a re-release of the pair also planned for the end of this year to coincide with the release of Shinji Ikari .

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 12,100 yen Bandai Tamashii Nations have been doing a fantastic job bringing nearly as many kaiju to the Ultraman S.H. Figuarts range as they have Ultras, as well as covering some unexpected areas of the franchise alongside the mainline series. One great example of this was Ultraman Saga , star of the 2012 film (and 45th anniversary celebration of the Ultra Series ) of the same name and combination form of Ultras Dyna , Cosmos and Zero . Not to leave him without an enemy to fight, both Saga’s initial reveal and release was quickly followed on by S.H. Figuarts Hyper Zetton [Imago] . The ultimate creation of Alien Bat, Hyper Zetton quickly establishes itself as one of the most formidable kaiju (in its initial appearance at least anyway) by quickly defeating the three Ultras – the trio only able to finally overpower the creature when they merge. Like Saga himself, Hyper Zetton was released as a Tamashii Web exclusive .

Release Date: March 2026 RRP: 9900 yen The last few years have seen quite the revival of Capcom 's various Marvel Comics -themed fighting games, not just thanks to their re-release on  Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics but also a number of figure releases to go alongside it. Not content with letting Hasbro have all the fun in the Marvel Legends line, Bandai Tamashii Nations  have also re-joined the Gamerverse (an umbrella term used for all video game-themed Marvel figures) with their own take on these versions of the characters. After kicking things off last year with Cyclops , the roster continues to expand into 2026 with the release of S.H. Figuarts Spider-Man (Gamerverse) ! Though this retail release figure might seem like one of Bandai's more traditional takes on the iconic wall crawler, being directly inspired by these games makes it a little different that just another comic-inspired version.

Space Sheriff Gavan  proved popular enough that not only was a sequel series put into production during its run, Gavan would also lead directly into said series with its protagonist appearing as a guest character beforehand. Thus episode 42 of Gavan introduced the audience to Den Iga , a forest patrolman who was fatally wounded and taken to Planet Bird for recovery. When he returned two episodes later to aid Gavan in his final battle against Makuu, he donned a red combat suit and was revealed as Earth's newest Space Sheriff following his predecessor's promotion. Space Sheriff Sharivan is both the second entry in the Space Sheriff trilogy  and wider Metal Heroes  franchise, running for a total of 51 episodes between 1983 and 1984. With the same creative team of Gavan behind it, Sharivan aimed to both continue and build upon the new style of superhero show its predecessor had created. 

Release Date: April 2026 RRP: 9900 yen Bandai Tamashii Nations may only have a handful of Kamen Riders from the Showa and Heisei Phase 1 eras left to release in the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou  line, but with how highly in demand some of these figures have gotten over the years reissues are certainly never a bad thing - especially when Bandai take the opportunity to slightly improve on them along the way. With Kamen Rider Agito celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026 it's the perfect opportunity for Bandai to bring the second Heisei era Rider back to the line, particularly since it hasn't been back on the market since its original release all the way back in 2015 . S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider Ground Form (25th Anniversary Edition) is a retail release, and the first of several Kamen Rider Agito  Figuarts releases planned for 2026 and 2027.

Super Sentai  may be on indefinite hiatus as far as further series are concerned, but that doesn't mean the franchise has completely run out of steam yet. Thanks to platforms like the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club streaming service that's still plenty of opportunities to tell more stories through the likes of mini-series and one-off specials, with more from No.1 Sentai Gozyuger among the first of its offerings in this "post- Sentai " landscape. No.1 Sentai Gozyuger: Polar Beginning transports us back to the year 2005 and the first Ring Battle, shedding more light on the past of Mashiro Kumade - the first Gozyu Wolf  who would later re-join the battle for the rings as the sixth Gozyuger, Gozyu Polar . Interestingly the one-off special was written by Keiichi Hasagawa ( Ultraman Dyna ,  Ultraman Nexus , Kamen Rider Gotchard ), rather than series head writer Akiko Inoue .

Release Date: September 2025 RRP: $49.99 Over the last few years Chinese company Blokees have taken the toy collecting world by storm, wowing buyers with their range of affordable yet accurate articulated model kits and blind box figurines. The number of licenses they’ve gathered in this time is equally impressive, with the likes of Transformers , Pokemon , Marvel , Ultraman , Kamen Rider , various anime properties and more under their belt. But certainly among their most talked about properties is Neon Genesis Evangelion , with the company celebrating the series’ 30th anniversary with a new range of model kits in their Action Edition line. It’s a line I’ve had my eye on for some time, and with a lot of my Revoltech Evangelion collection now pushing 15 years old I was keen to update it with something a little more modern. Release Date: February 2026 RRP: 9350 yen Super Sentai  may be on hiatus as far as the show is concerned, but that doesn't mean Bandai  still don't have 50 years' worth of shows to make further merchandise from. Since it's grand return to the S.H. Figuarts  line back in 2022 Tamashii Nations  have put out a select few characters each year, and while it's not quite the same as the full teams they put out previously it's still great to have some representation from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger  all the way up to No.1 Sentai Gozyuger . However the first (and currently only confirmed) Super Sentai  release for 2026 doesn't hail from most recent series, and instead makes a return visit to 2023's Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger  with S.H. Figuarts Spider Kumonos ! The King of the "In-between Land" Bugnarak is a Tamashii web exclusive  and the third release from King-Ohger (following on from Kuwagata Ohger and Ohkuwagata Ohger), making it the first series in the ...

Release Date: December 2025 RRP:  12,000 yen As Trigger ’s first full-length original television series Kill la Kill holds a special place in many anime fans’ hearts, but there’s no denying that the show was majorly underserved when it comes to articulated figures. Figma led the charge with battle versions of Ryuko and Satsuki in 2014 and 2015 respectively, but even they took a further five years to follow it up with Mako in 2020. Now a whole 12 years after Kill la Kill first hit screens Aniplex’s BUZZmod line have finally stepped in with their own take on the show’s heroine. BUZZmod Ryuko Matoi differs from Figma’s version in that it’s based on her standard/casual attire, offering fans something a little less risqué to display and delivering something they’ve been crying out for for some time.

Release Date: February 2026 RRP: 14,850 yen There are many kaiju in the Ultraman franchise that have proved more than a match for the giants of light, but very few have had quite the success rate on their debut as Birdon . First appearing in episodes 17 to 19 (the first kaiju to ever feature in a three-part story) of Ultraman Taro , the "Volcanic Bird Monster" made short work of the insectoid kaiju Kemjila before turning its attention towards Taro. Birdon swiftly added even Taro to its kill count, with the Ultra Brother needing to be returned to M78 for resurrection. In his place Zoffy arrived on Earth to battle the monster, but even the leader of the Ultra Brothers was brutally murdered. Whilst it would eventually be defeated by a revived Taro and Zoffy in turn would be similarly revived, two Ultra Brothers is nevertheless an impressive record. Such is its legacy that the release of S.H. Figuarts Birdon  feels long overdue. Released as a Tamashii Web exclusive , Birdon is ...

A big anniversary for a long-running franchise is always a good excuse to look back on and celebrate where it all began, but what about going even further back to before the beginning? This is how the GARO franchise decided to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with the release of GARO: Taiga - a brand-new feature film starring a Taiga Saejima , father to Kouga (and grandfather to Raiga) whose time as the titular Golden Knight had previously only been seen through flashbacks. Series creator Keita Amemiya  returned to write the film, as well as co-direct it alongside Masaki Suzumura who handles the action sequences. Shoichiro Kitada takes over as a younger Taiga, with the character having been played by Hiroyuki Watanabe in previous appearances.

Release Date: September 2025 RRP: $51 For the longest time Bandai ruled the roost when it came to high-end articulated kaiju  figures, but in recent years they've found a real competitor in the form in China-based company HIYA . While initially their primary focus seemed to be tackling characters from Legendary Entertainment 's Monsterverse films, recent years have also seen them also move into the Heisei and Millennium eras of Toho 's Godzilla backcatalogue as well. For kaiju fans "Bandai vs HIYA" is often a constant source of debate, but HIYA definitely took the win when it comes of their handling of Kong in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire . After releasing a standard version of Kong in the S.H. MonsterArts line prior to the release of the film, Bandai later decided that if fans wanted a movie-accurate head and the B.E.A.S.T. Glove Kong wields in its climax to go with it, they'd also have to buy (the expensive Tamashii web exclusive) Shimo and Skar King to ...

Release Date: February 2026 RRP: 9900 yen The reveal of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 1/Takeshi Hongo ( Kamen Rider: The Next ) as the 100th Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider release came as quite a pleasant surprise, even though it absolutely deserved its place given it was the figure that kicked off the whole S.H. Figuarts toy line. Of course it was also far too good of a figure to be left on its own as well, so after a slight wait Bandai Tamashii Nations have returned to the world of 2008's Kamen Rider: The Next  with the release of S.H. Figuarts -Shinkocchou Seihou- Kamen Rider 2/Hayato Ichimonji ( Kamen Rider: The Next ). In the film, Hayato returns on the brink of death, his wasting disease becoming more debilitating without regular transfusions from Shocker. Nevertheless he fights alongside Hongo once more, even at the cost of his own life. As with the Rider 1 figure, this new version of The Next 's Kamen Rider 2 was released as a Tamashii web exclusive .

Release Date: November 2025 RRP: 10,000 yen True to any toy company that wants to make money, it didn't take Bandai long after the release of SMP Wolkaiser to follow it up with its obvious remould. Shokugan Modeling Project Sainkaiser  is the third release in the Mahou Sentai Magiranger  range - based on the movie-exclusive mecha from Mahou Sentai Magiranger the Movie: Bride of Infershia . After travelling to Infershia atop the Horned Sacred Horse Unigolon  in order to save his friend Yuka, Kai Ozu's   Magiphoenix form combines with the unicorn to form the Holy Majin and defeat Glúm do Bridon. This Premium Bandai exclusive set includes both Saint Magiphoenix and Unigolon, as well as the very first poseable Wolzard Fire  figure.

Release Date: September 2025 RRP: 8900 yen Mahou Sentai Magiranger was a series with a lot of interesting ideas, and one of the most interesting of all was Wolzard - the dark magic knight who was eventually revealed to be Isamu Ozu , the father of the five Magirangers who fell to darkness during his battle with the Absolute God N Ma . Repeatedly battling against the Magirangers across the course of the series, the family were eventually able to return their father to the light - making him of the first Super Sentai villains to become an "extra" ranger. His impact on the series makes Shokugan Modeling Project Wolkaiser the perfect choice to continue Bandai 's new range of Magiranger  model kits - neatly coinciding with the show's 20th anniversary. Featuring both Wolzard  and his horse Varikion , SMP Wolkaiser is a  Premium Bandai  exclusive and the second SMP release from Magiranger following on from Magiking .

As the GARO franchise continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary, fans are lucky enough to have two projects representing its two main continuities. Whilst the Saejima family timeline added a new chapter to its story last year with prequel film GARO: Taiga , 2026's offering instead focuses on  Ryuga Dougai - continuing his story from when we last saw him in 2024's Heir to the Steel Armor . Though at only eight episodes (plus a prologue episode which quickly recaps Ryuga's story from the very beginning) GARO: Sentinel of the East  is one of the shortest entries in the franchise thus far, it does however reunite Ryuga with Rian - the Makai Priestess who first debuted alongside him in The One Who Shines in the Darkness  and continued into  Gold Storm ,   Gold Storm -Sho-   and Fang of God . As with the previous series, The Eastern Sentinel was made available worldwide via the official GARO YouTube channel with multi-language (albeit AI generated) subtitles.

Release Date: January 2026 RRP: $42.99/£34.99 The Seekers are arguably the Transformers ' franchise greatest cash cow, and with the ability to repaint/retool the same mould into a dozen different characters rarely does a line go by where they aren't included. Since its debut back in 2020 the War for Cybertron: Earthrise  version as been the standard for mainline Transformers, sneaking its way into multiple lines since - including the  Studio Series with the Coronation Starscream  set. But now a new challenger has finally entered the ring, with Hasbro unveiling an all-new seeker mould with Studio Series Thundercracker . Based on his (brief) appearance in Transformers: The Movie and the preceding seasons of the Generation One  cartoon, this is the first of what will certainly be many more Seeker releases in this mould. Is he good enough to justify potentially buying them all over again?

Release Date: January 2026 RRP: 13,750 yen Thankfully the fact that most Ultraman series feature a solo hero have never stopped Bandai Tamashii Nations  when it comes to character choices for the S.H. Figuarts line - with plenty of alien and kaiju figures to go alongside them. That said, with the Ultra Series placing much more emphasis on legacy characters many of these tend to come from the classic shows, leaving the New Generation era far more underserved outside the Ultras' various forms. With Ultraman Omega  featuring kaiju battling alongside the hero himself though, there was no way the line couldn't include at least one of them. S.H. Figuarts Rekiness  is the second figure to be released from Omega , and another general retail release.

Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider is available on Crunchyroll With the release of Fuuto PI back in 2022 there was the fleeting hope that it may result in more Kamen Rider anime series, but while an adaptation of Kamen Rider Spirits is still nowhere to be found in the meantime Liden Films ( Cells at Work! CODE BLACK , Tokyo Revengers , Goblin Slayer II ) have come along with the next best thing. Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider is a 24-episode adaptation of Yokusaru Shibata 's ongoing manga series of the same name, made in cooperation with both Toei and Ishimori Productions  - giving it official recognition as a spin-off (of sorts) of the wider franchise. With its release also coinciding with the main show taking its first steps in wider streaming on YouTube , newcomers who discover Kamen Rider through this show also might want to consider checking out current series Kamen Rider Zeztz as their first steps into the wider world of this iconic franchise.

Release Date: February 2026 RRP: 36,300 yen Despite Metal Gear Solid being arguably one of the most popular video game franchises of all time, when it comes to figures and merchandising there's a lot of untapped potential. The majority of characters haven't had toys since the games originally released, and when it comes to the Metal Gears themselves the only real options are large/expensive figures like the ThreeA releases (which are even more expensive on the aftermarket) or Kotobukiya 's impressive (but requiring a lot of extra work to look screen-accurate) model kits. As such it came as a bit of a surprise when Bandai Tamashii Nations announced their Chogokin Metal Gear Rex seemingly out of nowhere, bringing a new offering of the iconic war machine from the 1998 game to the table. Release Date: January 2026 RRP: $27.99/£24.99 2026 is shaping up to be the year of Bruticus as the “big bad battling” Combaticon combiner bursts his way into the Transformers Age of the Primes line. Collectors were treated with a nice little tease of what’s to come last year with Vortex , but now it’s time for the rest of his teammates to gradually join him over the course of the years. Helping to kick things off is Age of the Primes Blast Off , a Deluxe Class figure who joins Brawl as part of the line’s first assortment of 2026 releases.

Release Date: August 2023 RRP: $11.99/£13.99 Given it's strict focus on the cast of Transformers: The Movie there isn't a lot of opportunity for remoulds/repaints in the Studio Series 86 line, but what few there are Hasbro certainly aren't going to pass up on. And perhaps the most obvious of these was Studio Series 86 Decepticon Frenzy (Red)  - Soundwave 's second humanoid cassette minion who is of course identical to his brother Rumble . And like Rumble, Frenzy joined the line as one of the handful of smaller  Core Class releases.

Release Date: January 2026 RRP: $42.99/£34.99 The release of Transformers Age of the Primes Vortex midway through 2025 was a pleasant surprise, albeit a little bit odd given than none of his fellow Combaticons were anywhere to be seen around this time. But with the range continuing on through 2026 it was only a matter of time, and now Bruticus is truly beginning to take shape as Age of the Primes Brawl joins him. Released alongside Blast Off , Brawl is the first of the two Voyager Class components that make up the Combaticon combiner – something which has been stated by the designers to be required by the leg pieces to enhance stability.

Release Date: January 2026 RRP: 10,000 yen There are many collectors (myself included) who would count Kaiyodo’s Revoltech line among their first foray into Japanese collector-grade action figures, and whilst many competitors have appeared in the years since it began the line has continued strong – its flagship Amazing Yamaguchi (named after sculptor Katsuhisa Yamaguchi ) range covering the likes of Marvel and DC comics , My Hero Academia , Attack on Titan , Evangelion and more. As such a figure like Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Harley Quinn Suicide Squad ISEKAI Ver. feels like an obvious choice for the line, but the series getting so little merchandise elsewhere it feels like quite a pleasant surprise. As the name suggests, this version of Harley is based on her appearance in the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime series – where Task Force X are transported to a fantasy realm of magic and monsters.

Whilst one could argue that Kamen Rider Gavv ended on a fairly satisfying note, there were still plenty of plot threads left open to be explored in future instalments. Something that's been mandatory for Kamen Rider for well over a decade now, as there needs to be something to cover in the obligatory V-Cinext epilogue movie. As also tends to be the standard for these films, Kamen Rider Gavv: Guilty Parfait  shines the spotlight on the series' secondary and only (heroic) human Rider - Hanto Karakida , aka Kamen Rider Valen . The one-hour film was written by Gavv 's main writer Junko Komura , and directed by Takayuki Shibasaki .

Release Date: January 2026 RRP: 7700 yen Given both the overwhelming popularity of One Piece and how long the S.H. Figuarts line has been going for, it’s amazing (but ultimately not all that surprising) that Bandai Tamashii Nations haven’t given fans a full Straw Hat lineup yet. 2026 is the year all that changes though, with the release of S.H. Figuarts Sanji -Romance Dawn- completing the crew from that initial arc of the story. Sure it may be doing it on a technicality as only half of them were around during that time, but it’s still the closest Bandai have ever got. The Straw Hats’ faithful cook and lover of women everywhere kicks off the 2026 slate of One Piece releases as a general retail figure, and is actually the third release of the character – not only following on from the Raid on Onigashima  from 2023 but also an Enies Lobby   version released all the way back in 2011.

Release Date: October 2025 RRP: 9900 yen There are a lot of characters famous for their time spent in "Bandai Purgatory" (the fabled place prototypes go after being displayed at Bandai Tamashii Nations  events and then never seeing subsequent release), but certain figures are particularly legendary - especially when they manage to finally escape. S.H. Figuarts Master Asia is one example that immediately springs to mind, first appearing at an event in 2008 before finally being released in 2014. Kamen Rider Saga  is another one - first appearing as a standard S.H. Figuarts in 2011 before being revitalised as a Shinkocchou Seihou in 2024. Then in 2025 another one joined their ranks, and arguably it might be the most significant one of them all. After first being seen at a Tamashii Nations event all the way back in 2014, S.H.
